ABOUT THE LANDMARK VIETNAM

The Landmark Vietnam is an award-winning serviced apartment and office complex in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Opened in 1994 and managed by Peninsula Properties — a subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited — it is the city’s first international serviced residence. The 16-storey property combines luxury apartments, prime office space, and a full health club overlooking the Saigon River. Known for its personalised service and hospitality, The Landmark remains one of Saigon’s most prestigious addresses.

OUR ROLE

We were asked to design and build a new website for The Landmark that not only reflected the property’s own brand, but also met the standards expected of all properties under Peninsula Properties worldwide. The scope covered both serviced apartments and offices, and the Health Club. The project required a site that combined visual design, technical build, and photography into a single, disciplined framework.

DESIGN

The Landmark’s site needed to communicate prestige and service without clutter. We designed a structure that separates the property from the Health Club while keeping them under one brand system. Apartments and offices follow the Landmark’s established style; the Health Club is marked by its own accent colour. Typography, grid, and the logomark tie the two together. Layouts were built to pair content with context — floor plans, maps, and amenity details drawn in the same style as the site rather than left as add-ons. This gave every page a consistent rhythm and a visual language true to the Landmark brand.

FUNCTIONALITY

The build focused on making actions clear and secure. Booking and enquiry forms for apartments, offices, and Health Club services were embedded directly in their sections so users can act where information is presented. The site runs in English, Vietnamese, and Japanese with identical structure across versions. We worked with the Landmark team in Vietnam and with the parent group in Hong Kong to apply the same security measures used across the group’s properties. Functionality was treated with the same care as design — practical, reliable, and aligned to brand standards.

PHOTOGRAPHY

A new image library was created to capture the character of The Landmark. We photographed apartments, offices, Health Club facilities, and shared spaces over several sessions, covering both day and night. Portraits and team shots highlighted hospitality and service, while architectural and detail studies showed the quality of the interiors. Exterior and contextual images placed the building within its riverside setting. The photographs were planned to work across the site’s layouts and now serve as long-term assets for The Landmark’s wider marketing.
